Frequently asked questions
What are credits?
Credits are how Outrun measures usage. Every operation - syncing records, running a workflow step, making an AI call - costs a fixed number of credits. You always know what an operation will cost before it runs.
Will I be notified as I approach my credit limit?
Yes - you get notified at 80% and 95% utilisation so you always have time to act before your workflows pause.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Your workflows pause. You can buy a top-up pack instantly to resume, or upgrade your plan. We never charge overages without your consent.
How does annual billing work?
Pay for 10 months, get 12. Annual plans include full credit rollover - unused credits accumulate and carry forward until renewal.
Do unused credits roll over?
On annual plans, yes - unused monthly credits roll over for the duration of your 12-month plan. Monthly plans reset each billing cycle. All credits (plan and top-up) stay active while you have a paid subscription. If your plan lapses, remaining credits are available for 90 days.
Why is the Salesforce connector on Enterprise?
The Salesforce connector requires a vendor license that costs $5,000/year. We pass this cost through transparently rather than hiding it in higher prices for everyone. SAP and NetSuite work the same way.
Can I switch plans any time?
Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle. You can cancel any time - no contracts on monthly plans.
Is there a setup fee?
No. You only pay your plan price and any add-ons you choose. If you need hands-on migration or onboarding for a large dataset, we offer one-time migration packs.
What AI models do you use?
Fast operations (classify, route) use Groq for sub-100ms latency. Standard and Premium operations use Claude via Vertex AI for higher-quality generation, enrichment, and reasoning.
